On May 24, 2024, Stark County Sheriff's Deputies received a call about a woman in a Chevy Silverado truck driving under the influence. A passenger in the vehicle got out after being concerned about the driver and a friend of the passenger called the Sheriff's Office. Deputy Urbach located the Silverado parked at a stop sign. Deputy Urbach made contact with the 62-year-old woman, who initially denied consuming any alcohol. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, but only consented to the horizontal gaze nystagmus test. She was then detained in the back of Deputy Urbach's police vehicle, while Deputy Urbach searched the Silverado. When Deputy Urbach located an open container of vodka, the woman was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI) and having an open container. Deputy Urbach then learned that the woman was driving on a suspended license from another OVI conviction. She was transported to the Stark County Jail, where she consented to an evidential breath test. She blew a staggering 0.342% BAC. It was then discovered that this was the woman's 2nd OVI arrest in the last 10 years, her 4th OVI arrest in the past 20 years, and her 5th OVI arrest in her lifetime. The summary of her charges and the outcome of the case are discussed at the end of the video.
