It's just after 4 AM in rural Arkansas, and deputies are headed back to a property they've already been to more than once that day. A woman says she got hurt. Her boyfriend says they only came back for clothes. The man everyone keeps naming isn't in the house, isn't in the driveway, and isn't anywhere officers can see right away. This is a full bodycam breakdown of a domestic violence call that starts as a housing argument and ends in an arrest. Casey, who is deaf and relies on a hearing device to communicate, tells deputies she was hit and shows them a mark on her back. Her boyfriend Jason says it was his brother Justin. The father backs that up, but he's also trying to get all three grown men out of his house for good, so deputies have to weigh his account carefully too. Justin denies touching anyone and ends up found hiding behind the property in 24 degree weather, wearing nothing but pajamas. Along the way we break down why a visible mark plus a named suspect is usually enough for an on-scene arrest under Arkansas law, even when three different people are telling three different versions of the same night. Before you watch: this video contains real bodycam footage with strong language, a physical altercation, a visible injury, and an arrest. A child was in the home during the incident and is heard but not shown harmed. A note on accuracy: a few details mentioned in the footage, including a prior record and the exact date of the call, were not independently confirmed and are included only as stated on camera. What happened after the arrest, including how the charge was resolved, wasn't part of any public record we could find. If anything in this video hits close to home, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is open 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. There's also a video phone line for the Deaf community at 1-855-812-1001. Once Casey reported the injury and deputies saw the mark, did they have enough to make that arrest, or should they have dug deeper first? Let us know what you think. #bodycam #truecrimecases #domesticabuse
