On the evening of 28 June 2017, Sayantan Ghose drove to his ex-wife's house in League City, Texas, with a birthday gift bag and a loaded pistol. Wayne Harris, 43, died in the driveway. Amanda Harris was shot twice and survived. Ghose was arrested the next day at a Border Patrol checkpoint in New Mexico, and two League City detectives drove out to interview him in the county jail. For most of an hour he explains that he fired in self-defence. This is that recording, with the court's own findings set beside it.
