On May 30, 2023, at approximately 2016 hours, an individual identified as Kurt Kramer was found sleeping against an exterior wall at 2700 N. Roosevelt Blvd (Overseas Market) in Key West, Florida. When approached by a police officer, Kramer woke up incoherently, displaying aggressive behavior. The officer noticed signs of heavy alcohol consumption, such as glassy, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. Kramer refused to provide identification despite repeated requests to do so. Due to a prior trespass warning issued to him at the same location on 05/29/2023, officers placed him in handcuffs. He resisted the application of restraints but was eventually restrained. The officer found Kramer's Florida driver's license during the process, confirming his identity. He was subsequently charged with two offenses: trespassing on the property despite receiving a warning and resisting an officer without violence by refusing to identify himself and offering physical resistance during restraint. The charges are in violation of FS 810.09 (1)(a)(1) - Trespass on property other than structure or conveyance, and FS 843.02 - Resisting an officer without violence to his or her person. #NSaleOnYouTube This video was obtained through Public Records Requests. ✅ Stay Connected To Us Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@c0de3 Our goal with this footage is to showcase real interactions between law enforcement and civilians, with a focus on promoting civil behavior between the two.
