#news #police #arrest #cops Report: On 08/30/2022, Lowe's Loss Prevention, reached out and asked the officer if they were in the area of the Lowe's. The officer advised that he was in the area and she told him that a white male had just left the store with two drills. She gave his description (gray shirt, thick glasses) and he could see the male walking, right across from the store, with the stolen merchandise in hand. The officer got out and approached the male and he started to flee almost immediately and he yelled, "Stop" and "Police." Another officer arrived shortly thereafter. This subject would not tell them his name and was very disorderly and started yelling "shoot m* He started saying that we were not giving him any legal way to make money. The officer recognized the subject, but could not recall his name. As officers got him off of the ground, he was pulling away and resisting and even tried to put his foot on the front of the police car in an effort to obstruct officers moving him to the back of the police unit and he also kicked the police unit. At one point, he made an utterance that they were not giving him a legal way to make money, so he had to steal. He was put into a marked unit and transported to jail. The two drills, valued at $248.00, were returned to Lowe's.
