The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop after observing the motorcycle make an unsafe lane change between two vehicles and accelerate. The rider refused to stop and fled northbound on Thompson Street, reaching approximately **140 MPH**. The motorcycle continued onto Pleasant Grove Road before the officer lost sight of the suspect near Dixieland Road and terminated the pursuit. **Pursuit #2 — ATV Flees at 60 MPH** On August 7, 2026, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Arkansas State Police Trooper Ronald Weast Jr. observed a red 1999 Polaris Scrambler 500 ATV traveling along the shoulder of State Highway 114. Trooper Weast attempted to stop the ATV, but the driver accelerated and fled northbound onto Freedom Road. The ATV reached approximately **60 MPH in a posted 40 MPH zone** during the pursuit. After traveling approximately one mile, the driver pulled over and surrendered. The driver, identified as Timothy Kearney, was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. The female passenger was released.
