On June 7, 2023, a woman was coming from the Two River Theatre in Red Bank, NJ. Her friends had allegedly called an Uber for her, but she cancelled the Uber and decided to get into her car and drive away. Bystanders notified Red Bank Police Sgt. Travostino, who initiated a traffic stop on the woman. Patrolwoman Maggiulli arrived to conduct field sobriety tests on the woman. She was ultimately arrested for Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Liquor and Reckless Driving. Her breath alcohol level was not made public. Due to an issue with the state certification of the breath alcohol testing device, her case is in a "held" status with no further court dates scheduled. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
