She Tried to Fool the Police with a Fake ID… It Went Horribly Wrong During spring break, a group of college students from Iowa, attending Ball State University, Indiana, were stopped by police on a Florida beach, where alcohol consumption is prohibited. During the encounter, a female subject presented a fake identification to a police officer, an act classified as a felony offense under Florida law. The subject then provided multiple false dates of birth, creating inconsistencies during identity verification. Despite warnings, the subject continued to give false information. As a result, officers ordered an immediate arrest. The individual was taken into custody and transported to jail, facing charges related to possession and use of fraudulent identification, with potential long-term legal and academic consequences.
