On December 18, 2025 at approximately 1:45 PM, inside a Walmart in Canton, Ohio, a Canton police officer working security detained two suspected shoplifters—21-year-old Shane C.L. Newman and 23-year-old Katerina Jeffrey—in the store’s loss-prevention back office. What should’ve been a routine stop turns into a life-or-death moment when Newman reaches into a pouch, pulls out a handgun, and aims it point-blank at the officer—then pulls the trigger… but it doesn’t fire. This full police bodycam captures the exact second everything flips: the officer mid-radio call, the weapon coming out, the jam that changes the outcome, and the frantic struggle that follows as people in the room react on pure instinct. Authorities said Newman faced charges including attempted murder and felonious assault on a peace officer, while Jeffrey was charged with complicity to commit robbery. Watch until the end—because the most unsettling part isn’t what happened… it’s how easily it could’ve gone the other way. What if it hadn’t jammed? If you like police bodycam footage, DUI arrests, refusal cases, and real-world encounters that escalate fast, watch this one all the way through—because the breath test portion is where everything gets chaotic. 👉 PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO REAL CRIME VIDEOS HERE: https://www.youtube.com/@RealCrimeVideos/?sub_confirmation=1 ✅ WATCH UNTIL THE END: Should the officer just have shot him? 👉 What do you think about this walmart shoplifting arrest video?
