What began as a police encounter at a bus stop escalated into a physical struggle in a matter of seconds. Officers believed two people were smoking marijuana, while they insisted it was legal THCA purchased from a smoke shop. Before anyone could fully explain what happened, officers moved in, a concealed firearm was discovered, and the entire scene erupted into chaos. Police and a nearby witness would later give very different accounts of who became physical first—and the final outcome raises even more questions. Was this a lawful detention that spiraled because they resisted, or did officers escalate a situation that never needed to become physical? Watch the bodycam footage and decide for yourself.
