On May 12, 2025, Hoboken Police Officers responded to a complaint of a group of individuals drinking, throwing bottles, and being loud. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle was being driven by a 23-year-old woman who claimed she had not consumed any alcohol. However, Officer Guido claims he could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle, so he asked the driver to step out in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, the woman was placed under arrest. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, where the police report indicates she refused to submit to chemical testing. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, and Having an Open/Unsealed Container of Alcohol in the Vehicle. Online court records indicate she failed to appear for her June 2025 court day and there is currently an active warrant for her arrest.
