This intense bodycam footage captures a high-stakes fraud investigation at a local convenience store. A woman walked in attempting to cash a forged check for over $2,430, claiming she earned it by building a Facebook page for a company she had never actually worked for. Watch the full bodycam breakdown as she provides fake emails from a non-existent HR manager, only for the officer to call the real company and shatter her alibi in seconds. "I didn't know it was fake!" In this video, we analyze the police body camera footage of the confrontation, the emotional pleas from the suspect's mother, and the cold reality of the law. Despite claiming to be a victim of a scam herself, the evidence leads to a felony arrest for fraud and forgery. Does "ignorance" hold up in court when you're cashing a $2,400 forged document?
