Officers from Durham Roads and Armed Policing unit were alerted to this suspected stolen Audi S5 approaching the Rushyford area late last month. Sure enough, the driver of the V8 Audi failed to stop and embarked on a pursuit reaching speeds of over 140mph. But thanks to quick-thinking and clear communication between officers, the suspect vehicle was stung, boxed in and brought to a halt just six miles later. The 17-year-old driver pleaded guilty to offences including dangerous driving and burglary, and has been remanded in custody to be sentenced in October.
