At approximately 2:38 a.m., a second 911 caller reported that there was a crashed stolen vehicle at the same location. The caller provided a description of a black BMW 328i which was occupied by a male and a female. The investigation later revealed that this call to 911 was placed by 19-year-old Alec Perez. Police Officer Hadzovic approached the vehicle on the driver's side and Police Officer Battista on the passenger's side. As the officers approached, Perez exited the driver's side door armed with the BB air pistol in his right hand. Perez pointed the air pistol at Police Officer Hadzovic and depressed the trigger multiple times causing an audible popping sound from the CO2 canister. As a result, Officer Hadzovic discharged six shots from his service firearm, and Officer Battista discharged three shots from his service firearm at Perez. Perez was struck twice by the gunfire and fell to the ground. He was transported via ambulance to Harlem Hospital Center where he was treated for his injuries. For his actions, Perez was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Menacing in the Second Degree. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - matthew emanuel - 'Jun' - 'Xenik' - 'Rom' - 'wvot' - 'Cartoonjunkies' - john ferroato - 'Fishy Tuna' - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - Lynn Boyer - Exus Altimus - 'Dawesenm' - William Bowman - Paul Rohrbaugh - Sandra McGreevy - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Lee Roberts - Brant Eaton - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - Meighan Garrick - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us at BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PoliceActivity Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity 🛍️ Check out our Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/PoliceActivity 🛍️ Disclosure: Please note that we will receive a small commission from purchases made through our Amazon store.
