What started as a simple complaint turned into something officers weren't prepared for. On March 31, 2025, Westchester Police were called to a residence after a woman refused to leave a residence and move her vehicle from a shared driveway. All she had to do was cooperate and go home. She chose not to. When officers entered the home, body cam captured their unfiltered reaction to the conditions inside — feces, debris, and piles of clothing covering the hallway and bedrooms. Officers forwarded the property to code enforcement as a health and safety hazard. Despite multiple warnings and multiple chances to simply arrange a ride, the woman pushed an officer during the investigation and resisted arrest. The situation didn't end there. At the Westchester Police holding cell, she spit on a second officer and attempted to flick her gum at him. Two battery charges. All from a call that should have ended in five minutes.
