"So we need Kim Kardashian right now," Mackenzie Shirilla tells her mom. "NBC called me today," Natalie Shirilla says. Mackenzie Shirilla asks, "What's NBC? That's like worldwide?" Mackenzie got her commissary, calls Stephen Campos an f-ing reporter. "I'm not talking to anybody. We need legal counsel," Natalie says. Mackenzie has the nerve to brag about all her commissary items that her mother sent her that she just received, when in the most recent call we heard, she was giving Natalie a hard time for buying her all those items. Mackenzie literally told her mom to cancel the order, and that she hates Dial deodorant and all the things that her mom ordered, but at the last second, Mackenzie told her not to cancel it. Natalie literally has a caller on hold, likely a customer from her job, while Mackenzie is busy yapping about some guy and messaging him about movies like 12 Monkeys, Pleasantville, Moulin Rouge, and more. In call #2, Mackenzie was having a good dream of being a model. Mackenzie asks her mom if she wants to write down her speech, so this call must be after the verdict on Monday, August 14, 2023 - but before her sentencing on Monday, August 21, 2023. Jaida never wrote Mackenzie back. Both Mackenzie and Natalie just woke up, so they yawn a lot. "Why do you need my speech though?" Mackenzie asks, and Natalie says they have to turn them in. "Why? Why can't I just talk? That's annoying," the teen retorts. She's nervous about getting in the shower because she doesn't have a towel. It's probably not dry from yesterday. They only get one towel. Mackenzie thinks that's weird, because she used the towel to step on when she put it on the floor. Mackenzie is eating a blueberry muffin thing for breakfast and says it's good. She speaks gibberish about some girl who was standing and staring at Mackenzie. "Someone here said they'd rather do Marysville's time than county time in a heartbeat," she says, referring to ORW prison being better than Cuyahoga County Jail. Natalie cried in call #3, saying, "I miss you." Mackenzie says, "Hold on, mom." Her mom has another caller on hold. Now I know what those customer service people do when they say they're researching your account or whatever. "Let me tell her I'll call her right back," Natalie says. "Hurry up, though," Mackenzie demands of her mom. Where did she learn to talk like this? "Remember when we had 45 people here for your party?" Natalie said. "And it rained so bad?" Mackenzie sad. The women laughed, Mackenzie said it was her favorite birthday party. Natalie said the thunder cracked and the horse went up on its back legs. Natalie tries to tell Mackenzie about some new information she learned that's bad, I guess, but Mackenzie is too focused on the inmate repeatedly saying, "Ma'am!"
