This intense bodycam footage from February 8, 2025, captures a high-stakes case of mistaken identity that turned into a violent struggle. At 10:15 a.m., Rice Lake officers approached a customer named Adon after receiving a tip that he was an FBI Most Wanted fugitive sought for murder. Watch the full bodycam breakdown as Adon refuses to provide identification, claiming harassment while trying to eat his meal. Despite being shown a photo of the actual killer, Adon’s defiance escalated into a physical confrontation. The situation reached a breaking point when Adon allegedly reached for an officer's service weapon, resulting in him being tased multiple times. While later cleared of being the fugitive, Adon was found guilty of Attempting to Disarm a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest, resulting in a 170-day jail sentence.
