Late at night, officers stop Patricia after observing a sudden U-turn. She calmly explains that she is new to the area and was following her navigation directions. The encounter initially remains routine as officers review her documents. Tension escalates when an officer claims to smell alcohol. Patricia firmly denies drinking, explaining that she is undergoing cancer treatment, and refuses to participate in field sobriety exercises, citing her constitutional rights. Officers warn that her refusal prevents them from clearing their concerns and that an arrest may follow. When officers attempt to remove her from the vehicle, the situation escalates into a physical struggle as Patricia protests and claims injury. She is arrested and charged with DUI and obstructing an officer. In court, the DUI charge is dismissed, while she is convicted of obstructing without violence. All individuals remain innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Disclaimer: ⚠️ This video contains real police bodycam footage from a traffic stop and arrest.
