On April 28, 2025, Roswell Police Officer Dilley conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no registration. The registration had been suspended because the 25-year-old driver failed to pay her car insurance. Officers noticed an open container of alcohol in her vehicle, so she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest. It was revealed that she had a cat in the vehicle so a friend was called to come and pick up her cat and vehicle. At the police station, the woman refused to provide breath samples. She was charged with (1) Aggravated Driving While Under the Influence (DWI); (2) No Proof of Insurance; (3) Expired Registration on a Motor Vehicle; (4) Having an Open Container of Alcohol; (5) Failure to Maintain Traffic Lanes; and (6) Driver's License Not in Possession. On October 14, 2025, she pleaded guilty to an amended charge of Non-Aggravated DWI. She also pleaded guilty to the No Insurance charge and the Open Container charge. The 3 other charges were dismissed. Her sentence included being placed on probation.
