Southlake, Texas. An officer was flagged down for a report of an audible alarm coming from a residence. The police officer observed a smoke-filled home and a trapped dog with no way out on thier own. The officer immediately took the dog to the safety of their patrol vehicle. It was later determined the dog actually started the fire in the kitchen when he tried to grab some brownies from the stovetop. His paw turned the burner on, which caused the treats to burn.
