Police responded to a Florida home after receiving allegations that a woman had falsely imprisoned her boyfriend inside a closet during a domestic incident. When officers attempted to hear Sophia’s side of the story, she refused to cooperate—but suddenly became very talkative once they placed her under arrest. The situation quickly escalated as she resisted the officers, kicked a deputy, and repeatedly minimized her actions by arguing that she had “barely touched” anyone. She then blamed her boyfriend, the deputies, and practically everyone else for the consequences she was facing. The original domestic battery and false imprisonment charges were later dropped. However, she is still facing felony charges for battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence. She pleaded not guilty, and the case had not yet gone to trial at the time of this video. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
