On April 24, 2024, Clearwater Police Sgt. Stiff observed a vehicle make mirror to mirror contact with another vehicle. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle that caused the accident. The vehicle was being driven by a 25-year-old woman. Sgt. Stiff suspected the woman might be impaired, so he called for Officer Lightfoot to conduct a DUI investigation. The woman refused to submit to field sobriety testing, so she was placed under arrest. She then became belligerent and insulting to officers. When Officer Styles arrived to search the woman, she allegedly spat on the officer. This result in a felony charge of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer. The woman also refused to submit to an evidential breath test. Her charges and the outcome of her case are revealed at the end of the video.
