On May 26, 2024, deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Red Roof Inn in Palm Coast, Florida, after reports of a domestic disturbance involving 52-year-old Glen Miller. Witnesses alleged that Miller assaulted his wife, placed a hand around her throat, and attacked a hotel employee before locking himself inside room 104. After deputies evacuated nearby guests and attempted to negotiate with him, Miller exited the room holding a small dog and was taken into custody.
