On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at approximately 1 am, Palm Beach Sheriff’s office responded to a residence regarding a civil dispute complaint between tenants and the landlord. Upon arrival, contact was made with the tenant who reported that the landlord had turned off the Wi-Fi to their residence and was also observed looking through the window. The tenant expressed frustration over the landlord's ongoing behavior. During the interaction with her, she displayed extreme agitation and verbal aggression towards law enforcement. She continuously raised her voice and refused to cooperate with authorities. She appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, as a strong odor was present at the time. Additionally, her husband, who had arrived on the scene shortly before law enforcement, mentioned previous issues with the landlord but did not believe any inappropriate behavior was occurring. He shared that his wife had recently returned to stay with him at the residence with their children after a period of homelessness, but her behavior had been problematic. Both parties were separated, but she approached her husband during the conversation with deputies, leading to a sudden argument between them. The situation escalated, and she had punched her husband. Upon observing this, it was determined that she needed to be placed under arrest. Law enforcement attempted to take her into custody, but she resisted and pulled away from their grasp. She was eventually secured by law enforcement and was taken into custody.
