Palm Beach County, Florida – On December 28, 2025, police conducted a traffic stop for an obstructing traffic violation. During the Florida traffic stop, officers made contact with the driver, who advised he was in possession of a firearm and complied with all directions. Police requested identification from both the driver and passenger and were met with resistance from the passenger, who was also in violation for not wearing a properly fastened seatbelt. The passenger became verbally aggressive and confrontational, escalating the situation into a higher-risk traffic stop. A lawful order was issued for both parties to exit the vehicle. The driver complied, while the passenger continued to argue and refused to follow commands. Eventually, the passenger exited the vehicle and was detained for resisting after failing to comply with lawful orders. This incident was captured on police body camera footage.
