Police in downtown Athens, Georgia, respond to a two-vehicle crash caused by a wrong-way SUV. When officers arrive, they find the other car’s driver still inside — airbags deployed and shaken. The SUV, however, is empty. No driver. No passengers. Inside the SUV, police discover a handgun and an open container. A short time later, three people return — a brother, a sister, and her friend. The sister has clearly been drinking, but she insists her brother was driving. The brother claims he just showed up to help her find her phone. Officers now have to piece together who’s telling the truth.
