A deputy followed a black Ford Fusion that was drifting across the road. The driver turned off to avoid him, then accelerated. When the deputy ran the plate, it came back to a GMC. She said she had not been drinking. She said it twice. She said she promised. She told the deputy he could search her vehicle. She said it without being asked, and she repeated it. Then she said she had smoked marijuana three and a half hours earlier. Then she said she had five shots of vodka. Then, while a deputy was still walking toward the car, she said what he was going to find in it, and where. Deputies recovered cocaine from the center console and a half-empty bottle of vodka from under the driver's seat. She refused field sobriety exercises twice. After being read her rights, she agreed to answer questions and answered all of them.
