On July 31, 2024, in Bakersfield California, a silver Cadillac CTS-V flew past a California highway patrolman on Panama Lane near H Street at 100 mph. CHP officers immediately attempted to stop the Cadillac, but the driver refused to stop and fled from the officers at high rates of speed driving recklessly for close to ten minutes until he pulled over on Reese Avenue west of Cottonwood Road and surrendered to Officers without further incident. The driver was identified as Enrique Alejandro Bojorquez and arrested. Bojorquez's passenger was briefly detained but released from the scene and no charges were filed against her. Enrique A.
