On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, an undercover detective with a local law enforcement agency was conducting patrols in an unmarked vehicle. As the detective turned onto a city street, a gray Ford Mustang traveling in the opposite direction nearly collided with him. The driver of the Mustang then performed an abrupt U-turn, spinning his tires, and began chasing the detective at speeds of approximately 60 MPH.
