Suspect: Crystalee Tennant-Parnther Incident Date: 07/01/2023 Location: Lauderhill, FL Department: Lauderhill Police Department Crystalee Tennant-Parnther learned the hard way that running from a police officer is a bad idea. The 26 year old was stopped by Lauderhill Florida police for reckless driving but refused to comply with demands, telling the officer he can follow her to her house. While the officer was standing in the cars open door frame, she attempted to drive away, striking a fence. She then put her car in reverse and hit the officer with the open door. She took off at a high rate of speed but lost control, flipping her car after hitting a tree. She was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and driving on an expired license.
