🚨 Stolen Motorcycle Case Leads to Foot Chase, Patrol Vehicle Theft, and High‑Speed Pursuit — Butler County, Missouri (July 21, 2024) Troopers in Troop E were notified of a stolen 2023 CF Moto 350 motorcycle entering Butler County from Stoddard County. Dexter Police had attempted to stop the motorcycle earlier but were unable to detain the rider. The motorcycle’s owner was tracking its location and provided updates to law enforcement. Troopers located the motorcycle at a residence on Maxie Place. As they approached, a male — later identified as Andrew Carl Delcamp — attempted to run. After a short foot chase, Delcamp was taken into custody at 11:41 AM. Delcamp admitted he knew the motorcycle was stolen and said he received it from an acquaintance known for stealing motorcycles. During the foot chase, Delcamp dropped a backpack containing methamphetamine, Xanax, a used syringe, and a spoon with residue. He identified the substances and acknowledged being a drug user. While seated in the patrol vehicle, Delcamp managed to slip one hand out of his handcuffs. He climbed into the driver’s seat of the trooper’s Ford Explorer and drove away. A trooper standing near the vehicle attempted to stop him but was not injured. A second pursuit began as Delcamp drove north on Township Line Road, entering opposing lanes at high speeds. He continued onto US‑67, reaching over 130 mph, and later into Wayne County. A tire deflation device was successfully deployed near Route O, but Delcamp continued fleeing until he eventually ran off the roadway on MO‑49 and fled into the woods. After a short search and perimeter being established, officers waited for a K9 officer to assist. Delcamp was found hiding under brush and taken back into custody at 2:12 PM.
