A restaurant disturbance quickly turns into a DUI investigation when officers respond to reports of a loud, intoxicated woman causing a scene. As the situation unfolds outside, attention shifts to the male companion sitting in a black Dodge truck. During the encounter, he admits to drinking, shows signs of intoxication, and is asked to step out of the vehicle. What follows are field sobriety tests—walk-and-turn, one-leg stand, and HGN—where his performance and statements begin to tell a different story. From initial denial to partial admission, the tension builds until officers make the arrest. At the end, the New Mexico Implied Consent Act is read, and he agrees to a breath test—bringing the situation full circle. On Street Cop Bodycam, we break down real police encounters—restaurant incidents, DUI stops, and on-the-spot decisions—while keeping footage authentic and focused on the key turning points that matter.
