#PoliceCase, #CrimeInvestigation, #UnderArrest, #CaughtOnCamera, #TrueCrimeStory, #JusticeServed, #LawAndOrder, #PoliceInterrogation, #CriminalCaught, #CourtroomDrama, #CrimeCaughtLive, Real Deputies vs Fake Federal Agent With an eBay Badge On June 25th, 2023, Kittitas County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a 71-year-old man trespassing on private property in Ellensburg, Washington. The suspect, later identified as John Wallace, had allegedly been harassing a homeowner and making death threats. When officers arrived, they found Wallace holding a stick and behaving aggressively, ignoring multiple commands to stop and drop the object. Despite his age, Wallace’s erratic behavior and verbal threats forced deputies to proceed cautiously. As he continued to advance toward them while shouting threats, they repeatedly warned him before deploying their Tasers multiple times. Even after being tased, Wallace resisted arrest, claimed to be a federal agent, and accused officers of wrongdoing. Deputies noted visible injuries and called EMS to evaluate him for potential mental health issues. During questioning, Wallace made several bizarre claims — saying he was the President of the United States, that officers had “no authority,” and that he was under “federal law.” Once restrained, deputies searched his belongings and discovered fake IDs and a counterfeit federal badge, along with miscellaneous personal items. Later, the homeowners told deputies that Wallace had threatened to kill them multiple times, confirming the earlier reports of harassment. Wallace was charged with two felony counts: harassment and resisting arrest. Due to his unstable mental state, he was taken for a medical evaluation before booking. However, public records do not indicate whether he was granted bond or how his case was later resolved in court.
