🚔 Intense High-Speed Pursuit & Arrest – Caught on Body Cam! 🚔 On January 25, 2025, Lisle Police Department officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle near Bill Kay Chevrolet at 2300 Ogden Ave. The suspect vehicle—a stolen Grey Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT—was linked to multiple dealership burglaries in the past two weeks. As the Jeep fled eastbound on I-88, officers initiated a high-speed chase reaching 131 MPH. The suspect evaded spike strips, nearly struck an officer, and dangerously swerved through traffic on I-290 before a mechanical failure forced the vehicle to stop near 17th St exit. All four suspects fled on foot, prompting a multi-agency pursuit involving Chicago Police’s helicopter. Officers quickly apprehended one suspect, while three others were found hiding under a tarp in Maywood. A search of the vehicle and suspects uncovered: 🔹 An AR rifle & a Glock 20 handgun 🔹 10 stolen key fobs & vehicle programming tools 🔹 Large amounts of cannabis & unidentified pills The driver, Matthew Perez, was identified after a police officer saw him smiling mid-pursuit.
