Chicago Police officers monitored the area through a Police Observation Device (POD) and observed a group of individuals in a cul-de-sac. Several Chicago Police Officers arrived in the area in four unmarked police vehicles. Upon their arrival, officers exited their vehicles to engage the group of individuals on foot as well as an individual driving a black sedan. While on foot, multiple officers attempted to engage the driver of the BMW sedan, as the vehicle attempted to leave the area, striking a police vehicle, and ultimately fleeing the scene. During this altercation, two officers discharged their firearms at the moving sedan. Bodycam footage shows officers repeatedly ordering the man to pull over, but he continued to drive as many officers attempted to open the door. One officer, with his gun drawn and aimed at the BMW’s driver, yelled for his fellow officers to “watch for the crossfire” before firing three shots in the direction of the driver. The officer's initial shot appeared to have struck another CPD officer in the left hand, who was attempting to open the car door. The BMW driver was able to flee, and officers on the scene swiftly called "10-1," a police emergency, to report bullets fired by authorities. The gunshot seemed to strike the wounded officer's middle and ring fingers, according to the video. The wounded officer crouched to the ground after being shot and noticed blood gushing from his hand. A tourniquet was quickly administered by another officer. The officer was quickly transported to UChicago Medicine, but not before several neighbors began insulting the officer who shot his colleague. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Sandra McGreevy - Francesco Tortorelli - Ryan Hurley - Kerrie Golden - Charlie Collier - Koby Bland - Cash MacGregor - 'Zixuno' - 'InicRa' - Christopher Payne - 'Bad Drivers Of The NorCal Area' - Juan Villagomez - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'Ham_Radio' - 'JTrip' - Lee Roberts - Jerry Allison - Marc H - Brant Eaton - 'General X' - 'jadeennff' - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - 'Savage Training Group' - Meighan Garrick - Michele Duckson - 'BoJassim' - 'Dabster' - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - Paul Rohrbaugh - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - Eian Smith - 'HelloDarknessMyOldFriend' - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us at BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PoliceActivity Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity 🛍️ Amazon Affiliate links 🛍️ (if you buy anything through these it will support the channel and allow us to continue creating content for you!): Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/PoliceActivity Amazon US: https://amzn.to/44TDQEK Amazon CA: https://amzn.to/47k7Ifm Amazon DE: https://amzn.to/3rSBSGd Amazon UK: https://amzn.to/43ShOkI Timestamps: 0:00 - Bodycam: Officer #1 1:29 - Bodycam: Officer #2 2:45 - Bodycam: Officer #3 4:32 - Bodycam: Officer #4 4:58 - Bodycam: Officer #5 5:22 - Bodycam: Officer #6 5:44 - Bodycam: Officer #7 6:11 - Surveillance Footage 6:42 - Patreon Supporters
