On November 28, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officers responded to a single car motor vehicle accident. The vehicle involved in the accident was being driven by a 42-year-old woman. She initially denied being involved in a crash, but Sgt. Saina pointed out that her vehicle had sustained substantial front end damage. When asked about alcohol consumption, the woman admitted to drinking two tall cans of Modelo beer approximately 30 minutes earlier. As a result, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. After the tests, she was placed under arrest and was transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station. She provided two breath samples which registered 0.24% BAC and 0.23% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
