On August 14, 2022, an officer in Menomonie, Wisconsin, conducted a traffic stop after noticing a vehicle with a brake light out. During the encounter, the driver reportedly showed multiple signs of possible impairment, including a strong odor of intoxicants, glassy eyes, and slurred speech. After field sobriety testing and a preliminary breath test, officers determined he was not safe to continue driving and placed him under arrest for OWI.
