On December 8, 2023. Officers from the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to a Dollar General after a man called to report that there was another male who was trying to fight him. An officer spoke with the reporting party (Felix) who stated that his friend had just dropped him off and while exiting the vehicle an unknown man approached them saying profanities about the way they were driving before walking away. Felix said that he saw the man again a short time later and approached him to apologize. Felix stated, "He came at me man and I ran back to the house and called you guys”. Officers were informed that Felix was driving and they could smell the odor of alcohol on his breath. A field sobriety and PBT test were conducted. It was later found that Felix had a warrant issued for his arrest earlier that day for failing to appear in court for other charges. Officers Requested to have Felix charged with OWI(2nd), Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Operate without a valid license 3rd within 3 years. In court Felix was found guilty for Disorderly Conduct. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail and ordered to pay $446 in Fines. This Video is for educational purposes only.
