On a cold day in north Florida, a wildlife officer patrolling in a boat pulls up to a dock where he sees a few people fishing. One by one, the officer pulls out all the red fish from the cooler and puts them on his tailgate. In the end, both anglers received citations for exceeding the bag limit and for possessing two oversized redfish; the young angler also received a citation for exceeding the limit on redfish and a warning for his undersized flounder. Most of Florida's coastal areas have a one fish per angler limit, with some areas requiring catch-and-release only.
