A woman was stopped on State Road 100 in Flagler County, Florida after a caller reported a possible impaired driver. Allegedly, that caller was her mother. Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office made contact and Mackenzie immediately admitted she had been drinking. What followed was a nearly 40-minute struggle -- refusing to step out, refusing to stand near the roadway, failed field sobriety exercises, and an arrest she fought at every stage. Minutes after being placed in the back of the patrol car, Mackenzie slipped out of her handcuffs and told deputies they were not very smart. She was removed, taken to the ground, re-cuffed and double locked, and placed in leg restraints after kicking at the door and cage. At the Flagler County jail she refused the intake process entirely.
