On April 2, 2026, at approximately 3:01 PM, I observed a black sports motorcycle traveling westbound on Interstate 30 near Broadway Street at a high rate of speed and making aggressive lane changes. Before a traffic stop could be initiated, the motorcycle exited at Exit 3 onto Interstate 530 South. I continued to follow the vehicle westbound on Highway 338, where I was able to catch up at approximately 3:06 PM. Upon activation of my emergency lights and siren, the operator looked back toward my patrol unit, then accelerated and fled, clearly demonstrating awareness of law enforcement presence. A pursuit was initiated at 3:06 PM. The motorcycle continued westbound on Highway 338 to Highway 167, where it turned southbound, then proceeded west onto Willow Springs Road. The operator was described as a white male wearing a black helmet with a Mohawk design, operating a black sport-style motorcycle. The pursuit was terminated after the motorcycle was lost at the intersection of Willow Springs Road and Laser Lane. Despite law enforcement efforts, the motorcycle and operator were not located.
