On October 18, 2023, Hapeville Police responded to an apartment on South Fulton Avenue after a neighbor heard a woman screaming “get off me” from inside the unit and called 911. When officers arrived, they had to separate everyone and figure out what happened. The woman told police she couldn’t breathe and claimed she had been kicked in the stomach while pregnant. But the man involved gave officers a completely different version of events, saying he was the one who had been attacked, scratched, and pulled by his hair while trying to get away. With a child inside the apartment and two different stories being told, officers had to sort through the chaos and determine what really happened. This is raw police bodycam footage from Hapeville, Georgia. Body cam on.
