On September 3rd, 2024, officers in New Mexico responded to reports of a disturbance between a mother and her adult son at a local apartment complex. When police arrived, the man was visibly agitated — pacing, yelling, and refusing to calm down. He said he was just trying to sleep, while his mother insisted she was terrified of his behavior and past violence. Officers spent several minutes trying to de-escalate the situation, but the man’s frustration and confusion only grew. Eventually, they confirmed he had an active restraining order filed by his grandmother — and was in violation of it by being at the residence. He was detained without incident, while his mother broke down in tears — saying she had tried everything to get him help. Another difficult call for officers — and a heartbreaking reminder of how mental health and family pain often collide behind closed doors. 📍 Location: New Mexico, USA 🎥 Footage: Police Bodycam 📅 Incident Date: September 3rd, 2024 🔔 Subscribe to LFX Body Cam for real-life police encounters, domestic calls, and mental health response footage from across the U.S. 🎥 All footage used under fair use for educational and informational purposes. --- ⚠️ Disclaimer: This video is for educational and informational purposes only.
