On July 16, 2024, Cleveland State University Police Officers were dispatched to The Center for Innovative Medical Professionals building regarding a disruptive woman refusing to leave. 5 Officers spent over an hour trying to convince the 55-year-old woman to leave the building. She was eventually forcibly removed and turned over to EMS staff, who transported her to a local hospital. Officers then contacted prosecutors seeking charges of criminal trespassing, criminal activity of school property, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Court records show she failed to appear for her court date and an arrest warrant was issued.
