🚨 127 MPH Corvette Pursuit — Johnson & Jackson County, Missouri (October 25, 2023) 0:00 Intro 9:45 Speeding up...sorta 13:50 There's the gas pedal! 17:55 Spike strips and crash 22:57 Nurse Amy for the win! 28:31 What happened? 31:24 Let me show you a trick 35:53 Sentencing A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop a blue Chevrolet Corvette after multiple 911 callers reported the driver tailgating vehicles and nearly running motorists off US‑50. When Trooper Hood activated his emergency lights, the driver — Tehran Vashone Robbins — immediately fled. Speeds remained slow at first but eventually accelerating to over 120mph. During the pursuit, Robbins drove erratically, fluctuating between 46 mph and 127 mph, drifting across the centerline, and passing vehicles at high speed. As the chase entered Jackson County, Robbins continued driving in the left lane for miles, ignoring traffic laws and creating a substantial risk to other motorists. Multiple troopers deployed tire‑deflation devices: Trooper Craig — successful deployment at Old US‑50 Trooper Booker — successful deployment at Easley Road Sgt. Bell — final deployment at MO‑7 Robbins attempted to avoid each device. The first two hit his tires but when he tried to avoid the third, he lost control and crashed into Sgt. Bell’s patrol truck on the shoulder. The Corvette then slid down an embankment and came to rest in a ditch. Troopers found Robbins unresponsive, with a strong odor of marijuana and signs of intoxication. He briefly stopped breathing before officers provided rescue breaths under the direction of an off‑duty nurse . Robbins was transported to Research Medical Center, where blood tests later confirmed PCP and THC in his system. Robbins refused a blood test under Missouri’s Implied Consent law and repeatedly asked officers what happened, appearing confused and impaired. Sentencing information at end of the video. Charges Submitted: DWI – Persistent Offender (Felony E) Resisting Arrest by Fleeing — Substantial Risk of Injury/Death (Felony E) Driving While Revoked/Suspended — 2nd Offense (Misdemeanor) Exceeded Speed Limit by 26+ MPH (Misdemeanor) Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle (Misdemeanor) Failure to Drive Within Right Lane (Misdemeanor) Seat Belt Violation (Infraction) Failure to Proceed With Caution Past Emergency Vehicle (Misdemeanor) Failure to Proceed With Caution at Flashing Yellow Signal (Misdemeanor) Key Details: 📍 Johnson & Jackson County, Missouri 📅 October 25, 2023 💨 Speeds up to 127 mph 🚓 Multiple stop‑stick deployments ⚠️ Patrol vehicle struck during pursuit 🧪 PCP & THC confirmed in blood screen 🩺 Suspect temporarily stopped breathing — revived 🚫 Driver refused chemical test 🔒 Persistent DWI offender — prior convictions in 2019 & 2014 Map courtesy of GISGeography https://gisgeography.com/missouri-map/
