A University of Cincinnati college student is caught attempting to remove a parking boot from his vehicle. Instead of settling his unpaid parking tickets, the student tries to take matters into his own hands, rapidly escalating a simple civil parking penalty into a criminal investigation for theft. When campus police arrive to investigate the tampering, the suspect immediately becomes uncooperative, deciding to argue the legal definition of a lawful order with the officers right on the side of the road. By physically pulling away from the officers and initially refusing to hand over his ID, the student turns a frustrating day into a guaranteed trip to jail.
