Palm Beach County, Florida – On March 5, 2026, an officer conducting routine traffic patrol observed a driver run a red light, cross multiple lanes of traffic, and drive over a median after exiting I-95. During the traffic stop, the officer reported signs of possible impairment. The driver suddenly accelerated away, prompting officers to search for the vehicle. After locating the truck parked outside a residence, police deployed a drone and found the man hiding in a backyard. The encounter escalated into a foot pursuit and struggle with officers before the man was apprehended. Empty beer bottles were also found inside the truck. The driver was arrested on charges including DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to testing.
