On August 16th, 2025, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office got multiple calls about a reckless driver speeding through the Florida Keys. They quickly identified the driver as 35-year-old Leonette Rodriguez. When deputies tried to pull her over, investigators say she refused to stop. The pursuit lasted over 30 miles until deputies decided it was time to set a spike trap.
