At approximately 8:53 PM on April 19, 2025, Officer Boyce of the Oceanport Police Department stopped a blue 2012 Chevrolet Malibu after reportedly observing it speeding eastbound on Main Street. The driver was identified as 18-year-old Kaylane Borgesdelima. According to police and municipal court records, a records check revealed an outstanding warrant from West Long Branch connected to a missed court appearance. She was placed under arrest, transported to the Oceanport Police Department, processed, and later released on her own recognizance. While at the station, she expressed concern that the body-worn camera footage of her arrest might eventually appear on YouTube. The warrant followed two traffic citations issued on January 12, 2025, for improper passing and careless driving. On May 19, 2025, the improper-passing citation was dismissed. She pleaded guilty to careless driving and was ordered to pay $140 in fines. This video contains edited public-record footage with added narration and context.
