A woman reported that after hosting a birthday party at the restaurant a month prior, her credit card was stolen and had been used several times at various locations around Tallahassee. She had obtained video from the various locations the card was used and identified the person using the card as a Chuck E Cheese employee. After police arrived, they reviewed the video provided by the victim and made a positive identification of an employee at the restaurant. After seeing police, the suspect employee donned the iconic rat costume as a means to evade capture.
